About Lauren Dacey

BIBLICAL TEACHER AND LIFE COACH

Lauren is a leader at the Garden House of Prayer in North Haledon, NJ. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Yale University (2006) and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack (2013). She has also completed the ‘Living Fully Alive’ life coaching course from Abi and Justin Stumvoll (2018).

Lauren is passionate about helping believers know who they are in Christ and that God has a future and a hope for them.

“When I sit with my clients, I try to create a safe place for them to sort through their thoughts as I listen to God’s heart for them. Practically, I do my best to help them with any decisions that need to be made.

But on a deeper level, I try to help clients identify faulty beliefs and replace them with God’s truth.

From that place, I encourage them to speak and act in new patterns that are in alignment with that truth. With renewed minds, words, and actions, I believe a heart is more open to God’s love, joy and peace.

More than anything, I want my clients to learn how to align their thoughts with God’s Word, and thereby live more empowered lives.

I want them to be able to look at their histories with compassion, and thereby experience God’s love more fully.”
